About Dr. Norini
|
I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Cellular Biology from
Purdue University , West Lafayette, IN. I then went on to further my studies and
obtained my Bachelors of Science in Human Biology as well as my Doctorate Degree
in Chiropractic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard,
IL. While studying at National University, I also completed over 300 hours of Acupuncture
training including a three week seminar on pain management that took place in Beijing
, China in October 2007.
I believe that chiropractic medicine is an adjunct if not alternative to traditional
medicine for the treatment of biomechanical issues of the spine and body. Trauma,
repetitive movement, and sometimes even everyday life can cause the body to compensate
and begin to use faulty functional patterns. I believe it is important to find these
compensatory patters and correct them to uncover the root of the problem, instead
of just treating the symptoms.
As chiropractors, we are taught to look at not only the spine, but also the body
as a whole. This includes muscles, ligaments, organ systems and more. When we step
back and look at the total picture instead of just the symptomatic area of the body,
I believe we are able to provide a higher degree of health and wellness to our patients.
Previously, I practiced in Warrenville, IL where I enjoyed treating patients of
all ages with a variety of ailments. I hope to continue treating patients in this
manner by using a hands on and, at times, nutritional approach to help my patients
reach their highest health potential. My goal is to provide quality, customized
care for each patient based upon both their immediate and long term needs.
