Meet Dr. Norini
dr. Gianna Norini, DC, CD(DONA), HBCE
After graduating from Purdue with a Bachelor of Science Degree, I attended and graduated from NUHS as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2008. Since establishing my private practice in 2009, I have continued my own education and pursuit of knowledge as I consider myself a lifelong learner.
I have since taken courses through the ICPA and become a certified Webster’s practitioner as well as learned pediatric techniques. I have also taken the entire Childhood Neurodevelopmental course with Dr. Robert Melillo and learned his approach to developmental delays and neurologic imbalances.
In my first few years of private practice, I was feeling sad and frustrated when patients would share their childbirth experiences with me. Their stories were often filled with fear, trauma and feelings of helplessness. I made it a personal goal to educate families about all of their options surrounding pregnancy, childbirth and beyond so that families would instead feel confident and empowered by this chapter in their lives. To address this, I became a Certified Birth Doula (DONA) in 2017, and a HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator in 2019. Most recently, I’ve become certified in The Thompson Method of Breastfeeding.
